Sarah Burns

4K Teacher

Sarah Burns is the 4k teacher at CCS. She grew up in Northern Indiana where she graduated from Wawasee High School. She attended Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana where she received her B.A in Elementary Education and her B.A Early Childhood Education. During college she had many experiences teaching in grades from 4K to 5th grade. She also was involved on the college soccer team for 4 years and has experience coaching young kids in soccer. 

After college she taught first grade and holds a Standard Teaching Certificate from the Indiana Department of Education. 

She recently married and moved to Madison with her husband and begin their lives together here in Wisconsin. She has always felt that God has called her into education to make a difference in her students lives. She has actively been involved in her church back home helping in the preschool rooms and teaching Sunday school to children ages 3-7. She has been with CCS since 2021. 

Sarah loves spending time with her family and husband. They love to hike, kayak, cook, play games and explore new places. Her and her husband’s favorite activity to do together is look for shark teeth in Florida. Sarah loves to paint and find new crafts to complete. She loves listening to worship music and watching Christian speakers.
