Christy Tarjette

Principal/High School Teacher

Christy Tarjette is the Principal at CCS and also teaches various class at CCS as needed. She earned her teaching degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, and holds a teaching license from the State of Wisconsin. Christy completed her Master of Education with an Educational Administration component at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin.

Christy began her teaching career in 2008 at Morning Star Christian Academy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she served for nine years teaching high school social studies along with a variety of other courses, including Literature, Bible, and Speech.

She values Christian education for its emphasis on godly character, a growth-minded approach to learning, and excellence pursued for the glory of God. Christy desires to inspire students through God’s Word and to encourage them to be engaged with the world around them as disciples of Jesus Christ—living freely and confidently as the individuals God created them to be.

After her years teaching in Haiti, Christy returned to her hometown of Baraboo, where she now lives with her husband, Fedrique. They enjoy spending time outdoors together, exploring the beauty of Wisconsin, and traveling when they have the opportunity. Christy also enjoys reading, photography, container gardening, and baking.
