Christy Tarjette

Principal/High School Teacher

Christy is the Principal at CCS and also teaches history and literature classes for the CCS High School. She received her teaching degree from Edgewood College in Madison, WI, and her teaching license from the State of Wisconsin. She completed her M.Ed. with an Educational Administration Concentration at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, WI. Christy began teaching in 2008 in high school social studies classes, as well as a variety of other subjects, including Literature, Bible, and Speech, at Morning Star Christian Academy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she worked for a total of nine years.

Christy values Christian education for its emphasis on godly character, a positive growth-minded attitude, and excellence for the glory of God. Her desire is for young people to become inspired by God’s word and become interested and invested in the world around them, being free to live as the person God created them to be. In her spare time, Christy enjoys reading, experimenting with photography, and being outdoors!
