Christy Tarjette
Principal/High School Teacher
Christy Tarjette is the Principal at CCS and also teaches high school history and literature at the CCS. She earned her teaching degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, and holds a teaching license from the State of Wisconsin. Christy completed her Master of Education with an Educational Administration component at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin.
Christy began her teaching career in 2008 at Morning Star Christian Academy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she served for nine years teaching high school social studies along with a variety of other courses, including Literature, Bible, and Speech.
She values Christian education for its emphasis on godly character, a growth-minded approach to learning, and excellence pursued for the glory of God. Christy desires to inspire students through God’s Word and to encourage them to be engaged with the world around them—living freely and confidently as the individuals God created them to be.
In her spare time, Christy enjoys reading, exploring photography, and spending time outdoors.
